Let’s take a look at your home’s location.  Is there something not as favorable about its location such as power lines, train route, power plant, data center? If so fall or winter provide fewer listings and yours may have more of a chance to sell.

How does the condition of your home measure up to others in your area? Buyers today are looking for near perfect homes.  If you have a few items you have just not gotten around to completing, say a room you wanted to paint or scratch in the hardwood you need to fix, fall or winter may be the time for you to list.

Perhaps your home was listed in la1e summer at a higher than market price.  Fall now here and it hasn’t sold, or even had a showing or an offer.  Now is the perfect time to lower that price and with fewer homes competing it will have a better chance to sell.
